Nomination Day
Friday September 10, 2010 is Nomination Day. Anyone wishing to run for municipal council or a local board position must register with the Town Clerk by 2:00pm on Nomination Day.
In Penetanguishene, Nomination Day is also the first day that election signs may be erected in accordance with the Town's Election Sign By-Law (2010-01).
All Candidates Meeting
There will be an All Candidates meeting on October 6, 2010 at 5:30pm at the Brian Orser Hall, Penetanguishene.

Villiage Square Mall - Meet the Candidates
J.J.'s Restaurant in the Villiage Square Mall is hosting a informal "Meet the Candidates" nights in the Villiage Square Mall between 4pm and 8pm every Thursday night until the election. Stop by for a chat.
Note: Daryl works full time, so won't be arriving until about 5:45pm each Thursday.
Meet the Candidates @ The Bayfield House Retirement Home
The Bayfield House Retirement Home is hosting a Meet the Candidates night from 7:30pm to 8:30pm on Thursday October 7, 2010.
Meet and Greet and Eat
I will be having a Meet and Greet and Eat across from the new Fire Hall on Robillard Drive on Saturday October 9, 2010 from 11:00am to 2:30pm. Please drop by to chat.
Advance Vote
Saturday October 16, 2010 is Advance Vote Day. Advance voting takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday October 16, 2010 at James Keating Elementary School, 20 Lorne Avenue, Penetanguishene.
There will also be an advance vote opportunity on Thursday October 14, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bayfield House Retirement Lodge, 5 Beck Boulevard, Penetanguishene.

Voting Day
Monday October 25, 2010 is Voting Day. Voting takes place at James Keating Elementary School, 20 Lorne Avenue, Penetanguishene from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
For Electors in institutions and retirement homes voting will take place at:
- Beechwood Private Hospital from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
- Georgian Manor from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Georgian Bay General Hospital (Penetanguishene Location) from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Mental Health Centre Penetanguishene Regional Division from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Mental Health Centre Penetanguishene Oak Ridge Division from 3:40 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.
