It is believed that permission has been obtained from property owners for every sign that has been placed. If a sign has been placed in error, please contact Daryl O'Shea via email or at 705-527-1456 and the sign will be promptly removed.

Election Sign By-Law
New for the 2010 Municipal Election, the Town of Penetanguishene has passed By-Law 2010-01 to regulate the placement of election signs. The major points of this by-law require that:
- Signs be placed on private property (and thus permission is asked before a sign is erected).
- Signs not be placed within 1 metre of a road.
- Signs not be placed in ditches.
- Signs not be placed between roads and ditches.
- Signs not be placed within 9 metres of a road intersection (or within the 9 metre triangle formed by the intersection of two roads).
